The Southern Light Fund quiz was our first ever standalone fundraiser for The Light Fund and remains a ‘must go to’ event in the licensing calendar, attracting over 300 attendees.

It is a great networking event that brings the licensing community together, with every team trying to avoid the infamous prize for the team who come last… ‘The Pants of Doom’!  

The 2023 quiz was on Thursday 23 November and rounded out another strong 12 months of fundraising by the licensing industry. In a tight battle for the trophy, Max Bulldoggystyle (Bulldog Licensing, Licensing Link Europe and Max Publishing) emerged the victors with a score of 93 points, closely followed by Fiesty FOCOs (FOCO) on 91 points and Do You BLEieve in Life After Love? (Informa) on 88 points.[LFlosers23]. At the other end of the table, three teams were battling for the ‘Big Pants of Doom’ – Bingle Bells (Acamar), Moonbuggers (Moonbug) and Blues Need Clues (Blues Group) with the latter’s score of 53 points meaning they took home this year’s rather festive looking big pants.
